Case converter
Change text to UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case and more.
What is the case converter used for?
A case converter changes the capital and small letters of a piece of text in one click. Writers use it to fix a heading typed in capitals, students use it to tidy an assignment, and developers use it to turn a phrase into a variable name such as camelCase or snake_case.
Paste your text and press the style you want: UPPER CASE, lower case, Title Case, Sentence case, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case or alternating case. If you do not like the result, press Undo to get your original text back.
Why use this one
It covers writing styles and programming styles in one place, supports accented and Indian-language letters that have case, and has an Undo button. It runs in your browser with no sign-up, and your text is never uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
What is title case?
Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word, for example How To Write A Good Report. Style guides differ on small words such as of and the, so check your own guide for headlines.
What is sentence case?
Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence and leaves the rest in lower case, like normal writing.
What are camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case?
They are naming styles used in programming and URLs. camelCase joins words and capitalises each new word (myFileName), snake_case joins them with underscores (my_file_name) and kebab-case joins them with hyphens (my-file-name).
Will it work with text from other languages?
Letters that have upper and lower case, such as accented Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters, are converted. Scripts without case, such as Devanagari or Tamil, are left unchanged.
Can I undo a change?
Yes, press Undo to restore the text from before your last conversion.
