Invoice generator
Create a clean invoice with GST in your browser and save it as a PDF or print it. Nothing is uploaded.
What is the invoice generator used for?
An invoice is the bill a business sends to a customer for goods or services. It lists what was sold, the quantity and rate, the tax charged and the total due. Freelancers, small shops and service businesses use a simple invoice generator when they need a professional-looking bill quickly, without buying accounting software.
Fill in your details and the customer details, add the items with their GST rate, and the invoice builds itself below, with the CGST and SGST (or IGST) split, the total and the amount in words. Use Print or save as PDF, and choose Save as PDF in the print window.
Why use this one
There is nothing to install and no account to create. Your business and customer details stay in your browser and are never uploaded. The amount in words is written in the Indian system (lakh and crore), which many Indian invoices need.
Frequently asked questions
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Click Print or save as PDF. In the print window, choose Save as PDF as the destination, then save. Only the invoice is printed, not the form.
Is this a GST-compliant tax invoice?
It shows the usual fields (supplier, customer, GSTIN, item rate, GST split, total and amount in words) but it is a simple generator. A tax invoice must carry specific details, and larger businesses must issue e-invoices from the GST system. Check with your accountant.
Does it save my invoices?
No. Nothing is stored or uploaded. Print or save the PDF before you close the page. For repeat billing with saved customers and numbering, a billing product such as QGenx Billify is built for that.
What is the difference between CGST, SGST and IGST?
For a sale within one state, GST is split equally into CGST and SGST. For a sale to another state it is charged as IGST. Pick the supply type and the totals change accordingly.
Can I add many items?
Yes. Use Add item as often as you need and set the GST rate for each line. The totals are recalculated automatically.
