QR code identifier
Scan the QR code on the asset and the capture record opens for completion. Codes are generated with a company and location prefix, so the identifier shows where the asset was captured.
Every asset scanned, photographed and given an owner.
Assetify builds an asset register from guided capture: a QR-based and barcode-based identifier for every asset, template fields, up to six photographs and a named owner, searchable afterwards with the ownership history kept.
Standalone · GST-aware where relevant · Pilot before rollout
Every asset gets an identifier at capture. The label links the physical asset to its photographs, template values, owner and history.
Scan the QR code on the asset and the capture record opens for completion. Codes are generated with a company and location prefix, so the identifier shows where the asset was captured.
Where an asset already carries a barcode, scan it instead. The barcode is held on the same record as the photographs and owner, so each asset has one record.
Each capability is traced to the working product. The panel on the right shows a real label from the screen where it appears.
Scan the QR code or barcode of an asset, then complete the template you configured for that kind of asset. Capture is guided, so each record carries the same fields every time.
Codes are generated with a company and location prefix, so nobody invents identifiers by hand. The prefix shows where the asset was captured, and the code stays with the record.
Attach one to six photographs to every asset, such as a front view, a label close-up or a serial plate. Photos are saved with the field values and the owner record.
Find any asset by its details and open its detail view, which shows the template values, the photographs and the current owner in one screen.
Update an asset’s details after capture, as its condition or location details change, so the register stays current without capturing the asset again.
Assign each asset to a Company, Department or Doctor. Every change of owner is kept in the history, so you can see who held the asset and when.
Decide which fields each kind of asset needs. A medical device and an office chair can carry different fields, and the template enforces the fields you mark as required.
Dropdown values come from master lists that administrators control, so every capture uses the same wording for makes, conditions and categories across all locations.
Keep departments, doctors and other owners in directories you maintain. Owners are chosen from these directories, so ownership records use consistent names.
Set up companies and locations, then assign each user a location. We recommend a location for every user, because some read paths are not yet strictly limited by location.
The dashboard shows capture and ownership coverage for the role viewing it, so supervisors see how far each location has progressed without a phone call.
Download operational reports as CSV and receive in-app notifications. Roles and per-user permission overrides decide who can see which report and notification.
Three operating problems this product is built for. Each one is answered by a capability on this page.
Ownership by Company, Department or Doctor, with a full history.
QR or barcode capture with one to six photographs per asset.
Configurable templates and master lists for every location.
Five steps, in the order the work happens.
The capture user scans the asset’s QR code or barcode. The asset code and location prefix are generated automatically.
Required fields come from the template the administrator set up. Dropdowns draw from controlled lists.
Attach one to six photographs. The asset is saved together with its field values, owner record and photo details.
Choose Company, Department or Doctor. The first ownership record is created, and later changes are kept as history.
Search the register, open an asset, check capture coverage on the dashboard and download CSV reports.
Each role has its own job in the product and a clear gain from it.

Seven situations this product is built for.
Equipment lists had no photos. Capture now needs one to six photographs with every record.
Equipment moved between departments without a record. Ownership history keeps every change.
One form for every asset meant empty fields. Templates give each asset type the fields it needs.
Progress was a phone call. The dashboard shows capture and ownership coverage for the viewer’s role.
Capture staff saw every site. Each user is assigned a location, and that assignment is the basis for who captures where.
Tags were numbered by hand. Codes are generated with a company and location prefix.
Every capture follows the template your team agreed, so records from different locations can be compared side by side.
One open at a time. The full list has 35 questions.
Assetify is QGenx’s physical-asset register. Each asset gets a QR-based and barcode-based identifier, with photographs and a named owner.
Hospitals and other site-based organisations that need an asset register with ownership. It also suits any team with physical assets.
Start with one location as a pilot, then add the rest.
No. It is a register and ownership record, not a maintenance, procurement or accounting system.
Yes. Company, Department and Doctor are supported owner types, and doctors need not be application users.
No. It records captures and ownership changes; it does not track location live.
It is browser-based, so capture works from a device with a browser. We confirm hardware in the demo.
Scan the QR code or barcode, complete the template, add photographs and assign an owner. All are saved together.
One to six per asset.
