Why marketplace catalogue files get rejected

Every marketplace has its own template

Columns, mandatory fields and allowed values differ between marketplaces, and they change. Copying data between templates by hand is where errors creep in.

Map once, reuse

Read the template, map each marketplace column to a field in your own product data, and keep that mapping. The next upload then starts from the same source.

Mind the values

A rejected colour or fabric is usually a wording mismatch. Translate your values to the marketplace’s list rather than retyping.

Keep drafts out of the file

Products with missing mandatory fields should not reach the file at all. Keep them in draft until they are complete.

How Listify handles it

Listify inspects marketplace templates, maps fields with coverage, translates values and generates the CSV as a job with history. It prepares files; you upload them on the marketplace.

Related: Listify

Listify reads each marketplace’s spreadsheet template, maps your product fields to its columns once, and generates the catalogue file from your product data. Teams that list on several marketplaces keep one source instead of one copy per marketplace.
